DAY 1
Arrival Guwahati drive to Shillong,
(approx. 125kms/3-4 hrs drive)

Arrive Guwahati by Air/train, meet and greet at Airport, after warm welcome you will be driven to Shillong, Shillong: The romantic city of Shillong is one of the important tourist destinations in the northeast. The Romantic city, Shillong is often referred to as the Scotland of the East & due to its striking similarity with the Scottish highlands. Shillong has its own charm, different from other hill stations, and presents a natural scenic beauty with waterfalls, brooks, pine grooves and gardens. The place, the people, the flora and fauna and the climate all combine to make Shillong an ideal resort throughout the year. Local tribes like the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo tribes add color to this hilly city.En-route guest can enjoy speed boating at Bora Pani, Umiam Lake (5 minutes boats are available)  visiting Don Bosco Museum one of the worth visiting Museum in Indian, Museum focusing on local indigenous people & culture, with tools, clothing & artifacts on Display.  (Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays state and Centre Govt, 0900 hrs to1730 hrs). Overnight at hotel

DAY 2
Shillong- Mwallynong - Dawki Excursion -Cherrapunjee (approx. 110Kms/approx.3 hours’ drive one way)

Enjoy sumptuous breakfast at your hotel.Morning proceeds for day excursion Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border) will provide you a serene view but will also add memories that you can cherish forever. The main attraction here apart from the extreme natural beauty and peace is the Dawki Bridge. It is a Suspension bridge over the Umngot River and also serves as a place from where all Tourists can enjoy some spectacular panoramic views. Enjoy boat ride on River Dawki on direct payment (one of the cleanest rivers on earth) also you can try some snacks selling vendors from Bangladesh. Later drive to visit Mwallynong Village  Mwallynong The Cleanest Village in Asia, In eastern India’s Mawlynnong village, tidying up is a ritual that everyone – from tiny toddlers to toothless grannies – takes very seriously. This small, 600-odd person town in the Meghalaya region is renowned as the cleanest village in India. And for India, that’s really saying something. Discarded bottles and crumpled food wrappers mixed with cow dung – and worse – are simply part of the topography in most of the country. Mawlynnong is already way ahead of the curve, though. It was declared the cleanest village in Asia in 2003 and the cleanest in India in 2005 by Discover India magazine. This claim to fame stuck, and the village has become a regional legend and source of pride. Walk in, and all the typical rubbish is mysteriously, miraculously absent.Living Root Bridge: Living Root Bridge is a Tree Bridge, while visiting Meghalaya one must visit this beautiful place. Please wear good shoes which has good grip as you will to go on stairs which is not smooth, avoid high heels and fancy shoes, sandles. Evening drive to Cherrapunjee

DAY 3
In Cherapunjee- Shillong

Breakfast at hotel Morning proceed for Shiva Rock, seven sister Waterfalls, Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Arway Caves Daithlen Falls, and Wai Sawdong waterfalls (Pls note, it’s a difficult trekking on Fit persons can go, as ladders made by locals by using Bamboos and othe materials available in the forest, Carry your stuffs for bathing cloths but no soap and shampoos), Garden of Caves (Falls are active during rainy season) Evening drive to Shillong, Overnight at hotel

 

DAY 4
Shillong -Kaziranga (approx.280 kms/6-7 hrs drive)

Enjoy sumptuous breakfast at your hotel. Drive to Kaziranga, En-route Visit Maha Mritunjay Temple Kaziranga: One of the most sought after wildlife holiday destinations in India, Kaziranga National park& 39; s 430 square kilometer area sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests is home to more than 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, approximately 2/3rd of their total world population. Undoubtedly, the park is known for its good population of animals but more than that it’s the wildlife conservation initiatives that take place in the park are more popular. With its amazing wildlife

Conservation activities, the park has successfully managed to grow the population of Greater one-horned rhinoceros, an endangered species upon arrival in Kaziranga, check in to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 5
In Kaziranga

At 0430 hrs, morning proceed for Kaziranga National Park for a shared Elephant ride, after safari, return to hotel for breakfast. (Quality of breakfast depends on kind of hotel booked and meal plan) 1000 hrs, Proceed to The Kaziranga National Orchid and

Biodiversity Park is sprawling in the area of around 6 acres in the Durgapur village and is considered as the largest orchid park in the Northeast belt of India. The park has multiplied the glory of the Kaziranga in many folds. The Orchid Park boasts of having more than 500 varieties of wild orchids, 132 species of sour fruits and leafy vegetables, 46 species of bamboo, 12 species of cane and many other plants along with various species of local fishes. Enjoy varieties of Cultural exhibitions and folk dances of Assam.

Later in afternoon around 1300 hrs, enjoy your lunch and drive to National Park for a Jeep Safari. Evening return back to hotel, overnight at hotel

DAY 6
Kaziranga to Guwahati (approx. 240 kms/5 hrs drive)

After breakfast you will be driven to Guwahati upon arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed to Navagrah Temple, Umananda Devaloi is a Shiva temple located at the Peacock Island in the middle of river Brahmaputra (need to Cross the river by ferry, guest needs to buy Ferry tickets, also enjoy Ride at Longest River Roap way over Brahamaputra River It connects the Northern and Southern banks of Guwahati The ropeway gives a panoramic view of Guwahati, the Brahmaputra, and the surrounding hills. It can be a good experience that gives you an understanding of the geography of the city and also gives you some interesting aerial, drone-like shots without actually using one. You will also see Umananda Island, a small river island with a temple. Later visit charakeshwar Temple. Overnight at hotel

DAY 7
AM Kamakhya Temple and transfer to airport to board flight

Morning visit Kamakhya Temple (Pls note, in case guest wants to visit Kamakhya Temple, we suggest Roop Darshan, for going to Garva Griha, vip ticket INR 501 per person counts opens 0600 hrs for Morning Darshan and at 1200 hrs for afternoon Darshan, devotees need to obtain the ticket by themselves being on time and in queue) After Dharshan, return hotel for breakfast in case guest does Darhan in time Later you will be driven to Guwahati Airport / Railway station to board your flight/train for your onwards journey, with loads of energy as you chose a trip where you could breathe healthy.
